Webelos Invitational Open House – Saturday, Jan 23rd

Posted by MJSven on Jan 9 2021 - 4:32pm

Saturday January 23rd, is the Open House at our Scout Hut. Our guests will start coming around noon, so we should start to show up an hour or so early to begin to prep our Skill sessions. Due to COVID restrictions, we cannot set up our famous Monkey Bridge, but we have gotten a lot of interest in our tomahawk range, so we will definitely set that up.

Let's ride bikes to the beach! Saturday December 26th

Let's Ride Bikes to the Beach!  Join us Saturday December 26th for the last outing of 2020: A bike ride to the beach!

We'll catch the Santa Ana River Trail in Anaheim near the stadium and ride to Huntington Beach & back with several stops along the way.  The ride is 12.7 miles each way.  *Everyone must wear a helmet* and have a multi-speed bike in good working order.  This trail is mostly flat.  Please have a face covering with you along with water, snacks and a lunch.  The permission slip has the time from 7:30 to 1:30 but it’s been my experience we complete this early.  Scouts call their parents on the ride back if early pickup is needed.

This bike ride is a lot of fun and is open to ALL Scouts and adults.  Don’t miss this Troop 93 Holiday Tradition!

***You can still go on this outing!  Print and bring the permission slip with you Saturday morning.  We meet in the parking lot near the bike trail at 7:30 next Saturday December 26th

N. Rampart St - South of Orangewood (South of Anaheim Stadium).

**A Scout is HELPFUL** Centennial Day of Service

Posted by MJSven on Oct 29 2020 - 5:43pm
Good Afternoon Troop 93,
As our Law states, A Scout is HELPFUL
Many of you are familiar with our 30 year old tradition of Scouting for Food, where packs and troops across orange county partnered with the Second Harvest Food Bank to help those in need. This year due to COVID-19 restrictions this opportunity is not available to us, but what do scouts do when faced with a challenge? We overcome, Which is exactly what we have done. In honor of our Centennial Day of Service we have organized a Troop service project to show our local first responders that we care and we are so very thankful for everything they do for us!
